It has been well documented that necessity is the mother of invention. Everyone has a story, right? In 2009, we lost everything. After our combined 30 years working for a publishing company, we lost our jobs, our security, our home, our sense of direction. It was one of those moments where you either break or find a way to rebuild. We chose to pivot. I went back to the sport I loved and played in my teens, and tennis became our way forward. I started teaching part-time on public courts through Parks and Rec to bring in an income. Neither of us knew just how far it would take us. Dedicated in every step; from recreation coach, to Assistant Pro, to Tennis Director to General Manager. Fast forward 15+ years, and tennis isn’t just a career, it’s our lifeline, our passion, and the foundation of what we do. If tennis has ever been there for you, you know what we mean. We believe in the power of this game to truly transform lives because it transformed ours. We both come from entrepreneurial families and knew early on in our relationship that a partnership as strong as our marriage would unite us - it was the bond of business and service through a steady set of rock solid core values.
While the concept of Karevoyance floated around the El-Kheddiwi house for quite some time, it was in February of 2020, the midst of uncertainty for many of us, that necessity ignited the need for another pivot. And, Karevoyance became more than a discussion topic. It became a beacon, a light to which we navigated relentlessly. Finally, in November 2022, Karevoyance LLC came to be. And so, I said goodbye to a six-figure income and dedicated myself to launching the consulting company. Britt is dedicated behind the scenes while working fulltime and can't wait to join KV full time.
The future of racquet sports is so bright.
